All that it takes is for your little one to begin dancing and moving in front of her and her silly phrases and dance moves will be activated.

Intended Ages and Batteries Included

This doll was intended for children over 2 years old. It is suggested for up to 6 but you know your daughter best and older children may find her delightful as well.

I see that there are other moms in the reviews available who have children younger than 2 years old that are using the doll without a problem, so I would say that if your child is walking then this may be a good toy for them. I would definitely not purchase it for a child who isn’t walking yet because it will be too big for them and they might become frustrated not being able to get up and dance like their baby doll.

It does not come with many small pieces which is what we usually worry about with smaller children, so as long as you monitor a smaller child with it, it should definitely be fine. Just keep an eye on her bows and shoes.

However, it’s possible a younger child will have difficulty moving the switch to turn the music off and to turn it back on again. I know my almost 3 year old last year did have that problem with another doll, not this one, so it is a potential.

In your box you will find that it includes the 3 AA batteries that are needed for her to function. That is a great advantage for some of us moms who always seem to forget the batteries when we pick up a toy. Do we ever have enough batteries at Christmas time?
